August, 2009 Saying good-byeMy friend died last Sat. at 8am. Been a rough week. I am working through it and I am surprisingly okay. Mostly because I pray a lot and cried and I know that Kelly would want me to get on with it. I know some days won't be that easy, but I am doing better than I thought I would. I will miss my friend and sponsor. She was always very honest, whether you wanted to hear it or not. She was trustworthy, which most people I know don't seem to be. Sober for 21 years, she died from cancer at 60 years old. Not here nearly long enough. Nothing to do but be grateful for the time I had and pass it on. Thank you!
